You can step onto a platform and zip your way over forests, rivers, and fields. The longest zipline is a remarkable half-mile long. It is a fantastic experience that offers unparalleled views of the countryside and mountains from high above. The parks provide ziplining, various challenging courses, and giant swings and climbing walls.
Unicoi State Park
Unicoi State Park is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and boasts beautiful scenery and nature. It also offers a variety of outdoor activities. It is located just a few minutes from Helen’s center. It includes gorgeous lakes and rivers, magnificent mountains, forests, and waterfalls.

Anna Ruby Falls
The incredible Anna Ruby Falls, with its size, splendor, and sheer beauty, is a must-see when you visit Helen Georgia. It is just 15 minutes north of downtown, at the end of a half-mile-long asphalt path.
It towers 154.2 feet high and tumbles down Tray Mountain’s steep side. The York Creek, 50 feet below it, plunges right next. They join at the base of the spectacular falls to create Smith Creek, which eventually flows into Unicoi Lake.
Oktoberfest dates back to 1810 in Southern Germany. Helen Georgia is an excellent alternative to Munich if you don’t have the funds to travel there. This town hosted America’s longest-running Oktoberfest and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021.

You can also see the original Cabbage Patch Kids (Little People) from 1978. You can visit baby Land General Hospital for free. However, it will cost you $70 to bring a doll home. Visitors love the hospital and say it’s a great place to take your children.
Hardman Farm has a rich history. It has been a landmark in the Helen area for more than 100 years. You’ll discover so much about this beautiful area by taking a tour. Hardman Farm is home to the Sautee Nacoochee Indian Mound, one of Georgia’s biggest attractions.
The gazebo marks the spot and there is a cow pasture. You can also tour the historic home to learn about the milk production at the barn that was once owned by Nacoochee Dairy. Georgia’s Hardman Farm is a proud heritage. This is one of the most enjoyable activities you can do. Hardman Farm is open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. every day.
Hofer’s of Helen Georgia is a great place to enjoy European cuisine. You can travel all over Europe from this place. This place is great if you have a sweet tooth. For breakfast or lunch, you can come early or later in the morning. A great bakery offers delicious pastries and quick treats if you’re looking for something quick. This restaurant has a strong German influence, as all the furniture is German.
Locals and tourists both highly recommend Hofer’s Helen. It is authentic and delicious. The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Friday through Sunday from 8 to 6 p.m.
King Ludwig’s Bergapten
Helen’s King Ludwig’s Bergapten is a great place to have a beer or other fun activities. It is a great place to have a good time and enjoy a holiday. The activities at King Ludwig’s Bergapten are endless and time seems to fly by. This beer is great and comes in huge quantities.
