You must snowboard or ski at Whitefish Mountain Resort if you visit Kalispell during winter. This was something I did last time I was in Kalispell, and it will stay with me forever. It is comparable to any other resort I have visited in the Western United States. You will find terrain parks as well as dozens of runs that are suitable for all levels of skiers and snowboarders.
This resort is unique because of its backcountry. You won’t find a better experience than when you cross the backcountry gate.
Flathead Lake, located near Kalispell, is a lake covering 197 miles and reaching depths of 370ft. This lake is enormous and offers almost every water activity possible. Fishing, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, waterskiing, and wakeboarding are all possible. Everyone who visits this area holds it in high regard.

Golf at Buffalo Hills Golf Club
Golf is my passion, and I always try to play in every new place I go. The Buffalo Hill Golf Club, a 27-hole public course in Kalispell, is located in the middle of town. It was established in 1918 and had a lot of history. Many famous golfers have played this course. This once-buffalo pasture has become a top-ranked golf course in Northern Montana.
This course was a wonderful experience. The system is in excellent condition, and the service is fantastic. You don’t need to spend a lot to enjoy a great course.
Woodland Water Park
Sometimes a water park is all a family needs. Is Woodland Water Park the only outdoor park in Kalispell? Two 3-story waterslides and a lazy river are available, as well as a 6-lane lap pool. The water park is excellent for spending a few hours and letting your kids run off steam.
From June to September, balloon flying season near Glacier National Park begins. You can choose to fly one of the two-morning flights that start at sunrise or the other, which begins approximately an hour before sunset. The average flight takes around one hour and allows you to see stunning views from above without being too fast.
